What should a coffee bar on the Upper East Side of Manhattan look like? As architect Marcel Breuer would say, it is easier to say first what it should not look like. But it’s more fun to say what it could look like. It could, for instance, look like a temporary installation in a contemporary art museum.
We’re pleased to play our part in the Met Breuer’s celebration of their new location in the former Whitney Museum building. Our pop-up coffee bar, which we’ve pitched on the fifth floor of the museum, serves our blend and single origin coffees with an ephemeral selection of sweet and savory pastries. Enjoy your coffee as a pour over, or try our New Orleans–inspired cold brew. Both pair well with ruminating over Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible, the Met Breuer’s inaugural exhibition and fitting inspiration for our fleeting affair with Marcel Breuer’s space. Come muse with us while you can.
